DELIVERIES
Once dispatched, furniture orders will be sent by specialised furniture delivery companies and can take up to 21 days to metropolitan areas. Regional areas may take longer and are dependent on accessibility.
Once an order ships from BDI Australia, it is the carrier’s liability for tracking and delivery time. The date will be confirmed by the delivery company when they contact you to book the delivery.
Small items (BINK portable media table) will be delivered via courier and tracking details will be sent once booked so you can track the shipment. Courier companies do not contact you in advance but tracking details are provided so you will be notified when it is on its way.
Delivery fees for large furniture items are for door-to-door service. Large items will be delivered to the front door. In some regional areas your item will need to be palletised and will be delivered to a ground-floor door location. It will be strapped and shrink-wrapped on a pallet to ensure it arrives in optimum condition. It is the customer’s responsibility to dispose of all packing materials, including pallets, and to move delivered items from the ground-floor door location into their premises.
Please be aware that it is your responsibility to check that items will fit through doors, staircases and lifts in its packaging before you place your order. Product dimensions are included in the product description on our website.
Upon delivery, please inspect the items within 48 hours for any damage. Claims cannot be accepted after this date.
FREIGHT CHARGES
Freight charges for your location will be calculated at the Check Out stage. Depending on the item/s and the delivery location, in some circumstances unusually high freight charges may be incurred. If we are unable to reach a delivery solution with the customer, BDI Australia reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund to the customer.
PAYMENTS
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit cards. If EFT is required, please email us and we will fulfil your order manually and provide you with bank details for the transfer.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES
At this moment, we are unable to offer international delivery.
REFUND AND REPLACEMENT
RETURNS POLICY
BDIaustralia strives to ensure you are satisfied. We want you to love and enjoy your purchase. If something isn’t quite right, let us know.
RETURNS
We pride ourselves on providing quality products to our customers. If your purchase is considered faulty, we will gladly offer a refund, replacement or credit note, for the full purchase price. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
We understand ordering over the internet can be difficult. For this reason, we welcome an exchange or full refund on online orders within 48 hours of receipt. The item(s) must be returned in their original condition and packaging. All costs regarding delivery will be at your expense.
Should you consider an item flawed or damaged upon delivery, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt to discuss its return and replacement. Visible freight damage to the carton(s) must be noted with the delivery company before they leave incase there is damage to the furniture inside the carton.
